Ventura is not exactly known for its sizzling night life scene, but that may change this summer with the debut of Watermark restaurant and its third-floor lounge, W20. W20, in particular, is set to shake up the 805 area code, with about 2,500 square feet of impossibly ornate beauty. The classy rooftop bar in the historic building boasts retractable ceilings, multiple fountains, gas fireplaces and cabanas. Centrally located at 598 E. Main St., expect Watermark to be a hit the moment it bows (private soft opening is set for Saturday, with a grand opening in August).
